Personal Travel Assistant
The application of a Personal Travel Assistant (PTA) in three scenarios; commuter, tourist and student is applied to various media through which the PTA can be used. These range from a character based, physical interface (in the scenario presented here, as a Koala), a travel opportunity map (TOM), presented graphically by time and distance. Other applications such as an Ecopet, where low carbon travel can earn eco-points, and a web based tool further develop the device agnostic nature of the PTA.
