MIT - Mobile Experience Laboratory
The mission of MIT is to advance knowledge and educate students in science, technology, and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the nation and the world in the 21st century. As part of the Connected Urban Development program, MIT is applying its unique and world leading technology perspectives to enhance the CUD cities agendas towards connected and sustainable cities.
With a focus on the future of citizen experiences with utilizing technology in urban environments, CUD has partnered with the MIT Mobile Experience Laboratory (MEL) to provide thought leadership and visionary perspectives to the pilot programs across these cities. The Mobile Experience Lab is specifically providing a vision of how citizens in urban environments can utilize technology to enhance their lives in a sustainable and socio-economically balanced manner.
